Row To Hell

The Row to Hell, a workout from trainer Bobby Maximus, author of The Maximus Body, will fire up your heart rate, get your blood pumping, and melt your body fat. You’ll only need two things: a rower and another human, preferably a willing friend.

Here’s how it works:

You’ll start out by rowing 500 meters while your partner waits. Once you’re done, you’ll switch places so your partner can row 500 meters.

That’s one round.

You will alternate again, this time doing 400 meters each. You continue to switch on and off, decreasing by 100 meters each round until the last round at 100 meters.

Hopping on the rowing machine works your entire body. from your arms to your quads to your hamstrings to your glutes. Even your core will feel the burn. The rower also adds variation to your workout if you typically hit the treadmill for your cardio.

The goal, Maximus says, is to complete this workout as fast as you can. And having a friend to encourage and motivate you will push you to new PRs. Who said peer pressure is always a bad thing?
